South Hill Queen Anne Restoration and Addition
This Queen Anne period home from around 1891 had been in disrepair for a long time. We received a Washington State award for best historical renovation in 2005. We moved the kitchen and added some space for this kitchen and a family room. After completion we had brought back about 80% of the original Cedar siding, and you could no long tell that once they had drilled insulation holes in the siding, cut off parts of window trim and covered it all with vinyl siding. It was very rewarding to revive this historic home.
