Upgrade for multi-generational living
Dilemma: Clients with aging and health problems wanted to move family into the home to help out. 1960’s rambler was too small to accommodate the multi-generational family and the lot was too small to expand the main floor.
Solution: Add a second floor over three-quarters of the existing house. Add an elevator for second-floor access off the main entry to accommodate aging in place.
